288. David Letterman is an ass. That 'jokin' just went on way too long. I'm not a Paris fan, but I have to say since her stint in Jail she's kept out of trouble. Has Paris Hilton been a bratty skank in the past? Yes. Should she be tormented and humiliated by the likes of Letterman and Silverman for the duration of her natural life? No. If we were all repeatedly bashed for things in our past it'd be a pretty sorry world. She did her time and has managed to stay on the down-low (by her standards) and I give her credit. I truly think Mr. Letterman crossed the line. A person who is bright and funny can make up jokes that DON'T humiliate another human being. Letterman is a poor excuse for a host. Karma's a 'B****' Letterman...have fun!

294. Why is she surprised he said that?Dave is a comedian, making fun of people is what he does, anybody else would have been able to laugh it off. So does this mean she finally realizes that she's Hollywood's veritable punchline? We all know there is really nothing you can't say that can't be turned into a joke about her.

And she's just now getting upset about it? Though the whole jail fiasco was only about 3 or 4 months ago. I guess to her 3 months is a long time for her....I mean if that idea is just now reaching her mouth from her brain, then all I can say is WOW!
(but I can't say I'm surprised)


Oh well, it's not like she'd have anything important/interesting to say. And at least we know one show that will now be Paris-ite free.

297. Paris will have to have a thicker skin than that. She did the crime, did the time, she better be able to take a few shots about it if she wants to continue being in the public eye and earn respect from anyone. I give Letterman major credit for apologizing to her and smoothing her ruffled feathers though, the man has class. I'm actually rooting for Paris, let's see if she can make something out of her life. She's had no role models, no proper upbringing and has no concept of a normal life. I've rarely had a good thing to say about her and with good reason but I think she deserves a chance.

300. Paris' booking agent should have had her on the Home Shopping Network instead of a late night COMEDY show. She said she was there to talk about her "fragrance" and "clothing line". That's not a topic for late night television. How stoooooopid is she to think he was gonna let her get away without laughs about her stoooooopid recent behavior?

She is so surrounded and insulated by her suckups that she has no clue how negatively much of the public sees her. It's gonna take a while yet for us to forget what a bimbo she's been acting like for so long. She's going to have to replace our memories with another kind.

Earth to Paris...another fragrance and a clothing line isn't charity and won't change our memories. And giving Letterman the opportunity for us to laugh at your expense and then see you be insulted by it won't change them either.

You'd better think of some other way to change your "image".
