65. I've watched David Letterman since I was a kid and was just shocked to see him treat someone like that on his show. It was rude and uncalled for. I will never watch his sarcastic ass again.

67. Letterman should have left things alone. It was obvious Paris Hilton was uncomfortable with questions re: her stay in jail, he should have left it alone. I mean we already heard enough from/ CNN'S Larry King. What could Letterman possibly ask her, that Larry King hadn't already asked.?The producers at Letterman probably told her that she could talk about her new perfume/clothing line just to get her on the set. And then once she was out there, Letterman thought he'd be free to ask whatever.
Unfortunately, Bad news sells, good doesn't in the world.
I'm sure Letterman would like it if people started asking him one quest. after another about that wierd stalker he had at one point.

Despite everything, Paris handled herself well. So there you go Letterman, What did you accomplish? She'll probably never come back on your show since you misled her. Who could blame her.

He was ok as a stand up, back when, but hardly was at the top of the heap, then he gets lucky with this show, and today, just another abnoxious TV ass.
