The Aiken of Oz
"American Idol" wannabeen Clay Aiken in Broadway's "Spamalot" -- and Bert Lahr as the Cowardly Lion in "The Wizard of Oz."
It takes a lot of courage to rock that much hair and pancake makeup.
We're just sayin'!

77. You people are so pathetic. Don't you know how to do anything besides cut people down? You absolutely wouldn't know talent if it hit you right in the face. It appears to me that you cut people down to make yourselves look so cool (or should I say "not so hot") and because you don't have the intelligence to make a legitimately smart comment.
Pathetic.

81. Seeing as how Aiken is playing Sir Robin The Not So Brave (Eric Idle's movie role), the analogy to the Cowardly Lion is somewhat appropriate. However, for TMZ (or any of their braindead posters) to suggest that he is anything but a huge success in this acting (& dancing!) endeavor is downright criminal. Tell the truth for once, TMZ. Aiken is the buzz of the NY theatre world this week - word in the Broadway community is that he's terrific. The cast loves him & the director, the legendary Mike Nichols, & Eric Idle himself practically gushed over how great he is. Variety is already reporting a huge incrase in ticket sales.... heck, they sold $1 million the first day his casting was announced!

82. How much do you gawkers pretending to be reporters at TMZ get paid? Jealous, are we?

83. He was on "The View" this morning & I couldn't believe how mature & handsome he was (shorter blonde hair). I just keep remembering that skinny kid from Idol a few years ago. He was pretty dang funny as well!
